CAVE is mostly known for their bullethell shoot'em-ups, but they have occasionally dabbled in other genres as well. Their racing game series Touge has seen entries on PS1, Saturn and PS2 (the Xbox game Touge R was developed by Nextech). The games focus on racing in winding mountaing roads, as their name suggests. Drifting is a very big part of the games, with a drift meter scoring the player for smooth, continuous drifts. Bumping the wall stops the score gains from that drift.
